About Us: Community Involvement

Royal Petroleum is a family business with ties to the community and a strong commitment to supporting local businesses. To maintain these ties and stay on top of the current events affecting the industries we service, Royal Petroleum is a member of:

  • the Northern California Engineering Contractors' Association
  • the Sonoma County Grape Growers Association
  • the Sonoma County Vintner's Coop
  • the Sonoma County Farm Bureau
  • the Petaluma Area Chamber of Commerce

In 2002, owners Jim Dalton and Clif Hill began founded the Flying A Scholarship through the Sonoma County Farms Bureau. This multiyear scholarship is offered to graduating high school seniors, who are residents of Sonoma or Marin Counties, and will be students majoring in agriculture or a related field. Since 2002, that scholarship has been offered to five students attending various colleges across the state, including our very own Rebecca Chapman, a 2004 Chico State grad!

The North Bay area includes construction, agricultural, and commercial service businesses that are robust and growing. Meeting the fuel and lubricant needs of those businesses is the market in which Royal Petroleum excels. Matching Royal’s infrastructure and operations to fulfill customer expectations provides the foundation for long-term business relationships and customer loyalty.
